Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of
January , 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport,
ounce mem ers 0 1s, Schneider and Crain The following members were
absent: Vouncilmember Moin
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 08
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY REPORT
HADLEY WOODS ADDITION
STREET AND UTILITIES
PROJECT NO. 403
WHEREAS, the developer of Hadley Woods Addition has petitioned the City to
Install 7 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage
facilities, sanitary sewer, watermain and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, property benefited by such projects will be assessed for all or a
portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011
to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed Improvemeres be referred to Bonestroo,
Rosene, Anderlik & Associates for study and that the engineers be instructed to
report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in
a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to
whether it should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other
Improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Mayor Davenport ,and upon vote being taken thereon the
following voted In favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Reils, Schneider
and Crain
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
