txouncilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 83- 677
RESOLUTION RELATING TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: ADJUSTING THE
BOUNDARIES OF DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NOS. 1 AND 2
BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The City has duly established Development District No. 1 (District No. 1) and
Development District No. 2 (District No. 2) pursuant to M.S.S. Chapter 472A
(Act).
2. It is determined that it is necessary and desirable for the sound management
and financing of the Districts that certain parcels of land in District No. 2
be detached therefrom and attached to District No. 1.
3. This Council has this date conducted a public hearing after published notice
thereof, at which time all persons having an interest in the modification of
the Districts where given an opportunity to be heard.
4. The following described portion of District No. 2 is hereby detached therefrom
and attached to District No. 1:
Lots 4, 5 and 6, Block 1, of the Minneapolis Industrial
Park 3rd Addition
5. The Development Programs for the respective Districts shall be modified
appropriately to reflect the changes in the District boundaries effected by
this resolution.
The motion for adoption of the foraying Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken, the
