Counciimember Neils introduced the following Resolution and

ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 83- 669
A PROCEDURAL GUIDELINE RELATIVE TO THE BOARD OF APPEALS PROCESS
WHEREAS, the City Council acts as a Board of Appeals for appellants who seek relief
from the requirements of the Fire Code; and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable to exhaust other remedies prior to the appeal's process; and,
WHEREAS, it is advisable to provide consistent, uniform practices subsequent to the
appeal's process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that a policy be promulgated to address the aforementioned issues.
BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED, that said policy be published and disseminated via the City
Policy Manual.
