Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
on:
RESOLUTION 340. 83- 649
RESOLUTION RELATING TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT:
CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON ADJUSTING THE
BOUNDARIES OF DEVELOPMENT DISTRICTS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The City has heretofore duly established Development District Mo. i (District
No. 1) and Development District No. 2 (District 2) pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 472A (Act).
2. It appears now that it is desirable to the sound planning development and
financing of District No. 1 and District No. 2 that certain parcels of land in
District No. 2 be placed in District No. 1.
3. The Act requires that modifications of the District be preceded by public
hearings.
4. This Council shall therefore conduct a public hearing on the modifications of
the Districts at its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m., December 19, 1983. The
Clerk is authorized and directed to publish notice of the hearing in substan-
tially the form attached hereto as Exhibit A at least ten days prior to
December 19, 1983.
