RESOLUTION NO. 83- 623
RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO THE CITY ELECTION
RESULTS OF NOVEMBER 8, 1983
WHEREAS, a City Election was held on the 8th day of November, 1983, in the City
of Plymouth, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, this Council has canvassed the returns of said election along with all
other pertinent data relative to this election;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the results of the City Election for the Office of
Mayor are hereby certified as follows:
David J. Davenport.............2,643
Glenn B. Kivley••••.••••.••••••1,327
and declare David J. Davenport as the successful candidate for Mayor for a two
(2) year term on the City Council commencing January 1. 1984.
AND FURTHER, that theresultsof the City Election for two (2) Council seats
are hereby certified as follows:
Virgil Schneider...............2,498
Dave Crain .. .................2,473
Loren Schiebe..................1,602
Austin K. Franey...............1,039
and declare Virgil Schneider and D.+ve Crain successful candidates for Councilmember
for four (4) year terms commencing January 1, 1984.
