Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
move its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 83 - 622
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A COMPUTER, PERIPHERAL EQUIPMENT, AND
NECESSARY SOFTWARE FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY.
WHEREAS, the City recognizes the need and efficiency of automated record
keeping, and
WHEREAS, it is the City's desire to automate the record keeping system of
the Department of Public Safety into a comprehensive Management Information
System, and
WHEREAS, the proposed acquisition would provide the network between the
City of Plymouth's Management Information System and the Bureau of Criminal
Apprehension, and
WHEREAS, the necessary funds are available within the City General Operating
Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that funds in the amount of $67,130 be allocated from the General
Fund surplus.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Threinen . and upon vote being Laken thereon, the
