Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of
November , 1983. The following members were presedi: alWyor Davenport,
Councilmembers_Moen. Neils, Schneider and Threinen. The following members were
absent. none

Councilmember Moen Introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption
RESOLUTION NO. 83- 608
APPROVING NO PARKING SIGN INSTALLATION
ON 34TH AVENUE AND WELLINGTON LANE
WHEREAS, the Independent School District No. 281 adopted a student parking
permit system for Armstrong-Robbinsdale; and
WHEREAS, the implementation of this program caused dislocation of some student
vehicles from off-street school parking lots to on -street locations; and
WHEREAS, the residents on certain streets have requested restrictive parking;
and
WHEREAS, the City desires to mlclmize on -street parking to enhance pedestrian
safety;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE. IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE: CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that It hereby authorizes the Installation of no parking
Signs reading "No Parking - 8:00 a.m, to 2:00 p.m., School Days" at the
following locations:
34th Avenue between Wellington Lane and 33rd Avenue
Wellington Lane south of 34th Avenue
The motion forthe adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duty seconded by
Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken to reon the
following vote n favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Gouncilmeners Moen, Neils,
Schneider and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
