HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1983-593Councilmember Threinen Introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83- 593 DENYING LOT DIVISION AND VARIANCE FOR WILLIAM RAMSEY FOR PLATTED PROPERTY AT 1215 KINGSVIEW LANE (83044) WHEREAS, William Ramsey has requested division of two consolidated platted lots for the purpose of creating an additional buildable lot; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request and recommends denial; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby denies the Lot Division and Variance for William Ramsey on the basis that: I 1. The ordinance variance criteria have not been satisfied. 2. The division is not consistent with Shoreland Management Regulations. 3. The need for variances is the result of a situation created by the petitioner. 4. The magnitude of the variances would set an undesirable precedent and is Inconsistent with the character of the area. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the 0 ow ng voted n favor thereof: port, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Threinen The following vot against or sta none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. dsk8
