Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 83- 588
APr'POV1NG SITE PLAN AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR HENNEPIN COUNTY PARK RESERVE
DISTNICT MAINTENANCE SERVICES FACILITY (83041)
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Park Reserve District has requested approval for a Site
Plan and Conditional Use Permit for Phase I development and construction of an
approximate 5,000 sq. ft. maintenance services facility on an 11.82 acre site located
north of County Road 9 (Rockford Road) and east of West Medicine Lake Drive; and,
WHEREAS, THE City Council on May 17, 1982 approved the Conditional Use Permit for the
Hennepin County Park Reserve District for the development and operation of Medicine
Lake Regional Park; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public
Hearing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
MINNESOTA, that It should and hereby does approve the request by Hennepin County Park
Reserve District for approval of a Site Plan and Conditional Use Permit for Phase I
development and construction of an approximate 5,000 sq. ft. maintenance services
facility on an 11.82 acre site located north of County Road 9 and east of West Medicine
Lake Drive subject to the following conditions:
1. Compliance with City Engineer's Memorandum.
2. Submission of appropriate financial guarantee and performance agreement for
completion of site improvements.
3. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and
approval per Ordinance provisions and in accordance with the maintenance
facility Master Plan dated August 26, 1983.
4. No Building Permit shall be issued until the Land Division approved by
Resolution 83-68 is filed and recorded with Hennepin County.
S. The Permit is issued to the petitioner as operator of the facility for the
stated uses and shall not be transferable.
6. The site shall be maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.

7. All waste and waste containers shall be stored within approved designated
areas as diagrammed on the plans dated August 30, 1983.
8. Any signage si.all conform with the City Ordinance standards and Resolution
No. 82-235.
9. The adjacent residences shall be removed upon acquisition of the unacquired
parcels Identified on the August 26, 1983 Site Plan.
