RESOLUTION NO. 83-551
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT ON
LOT 1, BLOCK 4, WEST MEDICINE LAKE TERRACE ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a portion of the utility and drainage
easement on Lot 1, Block 4, West Medicine Lake Terrace Addition; and
WHEREAS a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on October 17,
1983 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851, as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of October 17, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on October 17, 1983 to Inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of the utility and drainage
easement on Lot 1, Block 4, West Medicine Lake Terace Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easement is not needed
for public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH that the following drainage and utility easement be vacated:
That part of Lot 1, Block 4, WEST MEDICINE LAKE TERRACE,
according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minne-
sota described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 3 said Block 4; thence
on an assumed bearing of South 78 degrees 40 minutes west along
the south lines of Lot 3 and 4 said Block 4 and their westerly
extension of distance of 186.06 feet, thence South 9 degrees 43
minutes 13 seconds East a distance of 20.00 feet to the inter-
section with a line 20.00 feet south of and parallel with the
south lines of said Lot 3 and 4; thence easterly along said
parallel line to the west line of the east 10.00 feet of said
Lot 1; thence northerly along said west line to the Intersec-
tion with the easterly extension of the south line of said Lot
3; thence westerly along said extension to the point of begin-
ning.
