The following members were present:Xa„Vr QW03 - nr _ nnutleii mamba r, !loan, -R_hnoi der and _ Thr n m The following me mbe= members were _ •max Introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: on: RESOLUTION NO. 83- 481 CALLING HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT 1983 WEED ERADICATION AND DESTRUCTION CHARGES WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 12, 1983 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost for the destruction and eradication of noxious weeds on cetain lands within the City as provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 3rd day of October 1983 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City C-nter, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearinq on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
