RESOLUTION NO. 83- 450 ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS PROJECT 920-010-014 AMHURST ADDITIONS WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments for the following improvement: 1. 46th Avenue from Quantico Lane to Juneau Lane 2. Orchid Circle by the installation of bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, sanitary sewer, watermaln, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and :rade a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of S years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday In January, 1984, and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.38% per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from: the date of this Resolution until December 31, 1984. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added Interest for one year on all unpaid installments. b�v 5. The total cost of the improvement assessed by this Resolution is: Street, curb and gutter $ 52,371,02 Sanitary sewer 28,954.32 _ Watermain 25.703.00 Total $107,028.34 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Couicilmember_Threlnen , and upon vote bean&g taken thereon the following votedn favor ereofs Mayor Davenport. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pass a a t r {4 YY .. f£ � y r: 3 The 'owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to eertifica- k t.on of the assessment to the County Finance Director, pay the whole of the assessment on such property with -interest accrued to the date of payment to " the City finance Director, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment 3s paid within 30 days.from the adoption of this Resolve tion• and he may at an time thereafter , y y pay the City finance Director the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. 5.
