HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1983-432Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83-432 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 208 34TH AVENUE WHEREAS, contract has been let for the improvement of: 34th Avenue from Fernbrook Lane to Highway 494 by the installation of watermain lateral and trunk, and all necessary appur- tenances, and the contract price for such Improvement is $78,195.07 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $15,803.83, so the total cost of the improvement will be $93,998.90 and of this cost the City will pay $40,743.01 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $53,255.89. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof.
