RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID ,
PROJECT NO. 231 AND 304
HUMPHREY ESTATES, 41ST AVENUE WITHIN MISSION HILLS PARK 6TH ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to an adver"Isement for bids for the construction of utility,
street and storm sewer improvc;ments for Humphrey Estates, 41st Avenue and
Mission Hills Park 6th Addition (Project No. 231, 304 ani 321); and
WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

AND, WHEREAS, the developer, Mission Partnership, has withdrawn their request
for the City to construct Project No. 321 and has not provided the necessary
financial guarantees;
AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Jerome Begin Contracting Co. is the lowest
responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter Into the
atcached contract with Jerome Begin Contracting Co. in the name of the City
of Plymouth for the construction of Project 231 and 304 in the amount of
$623,240.70 (Alternate No. 1).
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the
successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a
contract has been signed.
