HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1983-399Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its a opt on: RESOLUTION NO. 83- 399 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - WEST RIDGE ESTATES FIFTH ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Laukka & Associates, Inc. requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the West Ridge Estates Fifth Addition; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of West Ridge Estates Fifth Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on August 1, 1983, is hereby declared to he signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made In conformance to "Innesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special asse,-:-ent hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council With all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other Improvement and the estimated cost of th:. Improvement as recommended.
