Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a r_e_gu_al�r meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on:the. 4ULh day of June 19 83

Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION 83-336
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROPOSAL BY MDA CONSULTING GROUP
TO IMPROVE THE CITY EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION SYSTEM
WHEREAS, MDA Consulting Group has conducted a survey reqardinq attitudes toward
development in the City of Plymouth dated May 19, 1983, and on the basis of the
survey results, has made recommendations to the Plymouth City Council; and
WHEREAS, Recommendation No. 1 is the enhancement of the City's performance evaluation
system to modify employee work styles to create a more positive image for the City;
and
WHEREAS, MDA Consulting Group has submitted a proposal throuqh which City management
and supervisors will learn how to establish performance standards and conduct
performance appraisals in a fashion which will improve employee performance and City
Image;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
that It should and hereby does approve the work standards and performance evaluation
program as set forth in the MDA Consultina Group proposal dated June 14, 1983; and
FURTHER, that funds for this purpose are hereby allocated to a maximum amount of
$5,000 from account no. 101-190-899.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
