HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1983-322Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its a t on: RESOLUTION NO. 83-322 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - DEERWOOD ESTATES ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Lowry Hill Construction requestinq Installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Deerwood Estates Addition; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Deerwood Estates Addition - by the installation of residential ornamental street liqhting, filed with the City Council on dune 20, 1983, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declara- tion is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assesment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted infavor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Moen and Neils The foll5wing Zted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and a opte . * ** **
