RESOLUTION NO. 83-313
AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF REQUEST FOR FUNDING OF PROJECTS THROUGH THE 1983 JOBS HILL TO
THE URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY AD HOC CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has executed a Joint Cooperation Agreement with Hennepin
County establishing participation in the Urban Hennepin County Community Development
Block Grant Program; and,
WHEREAS, Urban Hennepin County Is entitled to receive S1,051,000.00 from the 1983 Jobs
Bill Additional Community Development Block Grant Appropriation; and,
WHEREAS, the City has developed a proposal for the use of 1983 Jobs Bill funds; and,
WHEREAS, the proposal for use of 1983 Jobs Bill funds has been developed consistent
with the 1983 Jobs Bill Statement of Objectives and the Housing Community Development
Act of 1974, as amended;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE: IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does authorize submittal of a request for funding
to the Urban Hennepin County Ad Hoc Citizen Advisory Committee for consideration for
Inclusion in their funding recommendations to the Hennepin County Board of
Commissioners as follows:
Acquisition and Improvement of Land and/or Dwellings
for Purposes of Eliminating Blight and Neighborhood
Revitalization 565,000.00
Housing Rehabilitation Grant Program $689000.00
Total $133,000.00
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, thF
