HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1983-305CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6TH day of June , 1983. The following members were prese-Mrayor Davenport, Counci mem ers gen, Neils, Schneider and Threinen The followin menders were ansenc: none o n ilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83- 305 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING FREPARAT10N OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - SCHMIDT LAKE WOODS 4TH ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Enterprise Properties requesting Installation of ornamental residential street liqhtinq in the Schmidt Lake Woods 4th Addition; NOW, THEREFORE:., BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Schmidt Lake Woods 4th Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on June 6, 1983, Is hereby declared to he signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration Is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assesment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer ai-d he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether It should best be made as proposed or In conjunction with some other Improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon the rollowing voted In favor t ereof:Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Koen, Neils, Schneider and Threinen The following voted against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
