HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1983-262Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular_ _ meeti<ng of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16day of May . 1983. r The following members were present:Mav�enport , CouncIlmembersoe _,, Nells Schneider and Threinen the following members were absent: none #*t Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its a pt on: RESOLUTION NO. 83-262 APPROVING LOT DIVISION/VARIANCES FOR ERWIN STOBBE/STOBBE DEVELOPMENT (83015) WHEREAS, Erwin Stobbe has requested approval for a Lot Division and Variances to re -divide an existLnq platted lot into two lots located at Lots 10 and 11, Rlock ?, ELMHURST GATEWAY; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE BE 1T HEREBY RESOLVED RY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the followinq variances and division and that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special assessment corrections based upon City Policy when the division is approved by Hennepin County: EXISTING LEGAL DESCRIPTION Lots 10 and 11, Block 2, ELMHURST GATEWAY 2ND ADDITION, City of Plymouth, Hennepin County, Minnesota, and reserving easements of record, if any. To be divided into two new parcels as follows: PARCEL A: Lot 10, Block 2, ELMHURST GATEWAY 2ND ADDITION, City of Plymouth, Hennepin County, Minnesota. PARCEL B: Lot 11, Block 2, ELMHURST GATEWAY 2ND ADDITION, City of Plymouth, Hennepin County, Minnesota. FURTHER, Approved variances include: a) Lot sizes of 10,598 sq. ft. and 10,623 sq. ft. vs Ordinance minimum of 18,500 sq. ft.; b) Lot widths of 4R and 54 ft. vs. Ordinance minimum of 110 ft.; and, c) Side yard setbacks of 13 and 14 ft, vs Ordinance minimum of 15 ft. on the basis tt-at the Code Variance Criteria have been met.
