The following members were present: Mayor ■ yenssrt. ounci1members Moen, Sc hneider and Threinen �" efollowing_ members were absent: none • _�—���� Councilmember Schneider Introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83- 257 APPROVAL FOR SITE PLAN, VARIANCES, AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AMENDMENT FOR DAVID CONSTABLE, CONTRACT SERVICE ASSOCIATES FOR EXEMPT, INC. - CARLSON COMPANIES FOR THE RADISSON HOTEL (82064) WHEREAS, David Constable, Contract Service Associates, for Exempt, Inc. - Carlson Companies, has requested approval for a Site Plan, Variances, and Conditional Use Permit Amendment for expansion involving a 42 room increase for the Radisson Hotel located in the southeast corner of I-494 and State Highway 55; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; 7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by David Constable, Contract Services Associates for Exempt, Inc. - Carlson Companies for Site Plan, Variances, and Conditional Use Permit Amendment for expansion of the Radisson Hotel Involving a 42 room increase, located in the southeast corner of I-494 and State Highway 55 subject to the following: 1. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum. 2. Submission of required Site Performance Agreement and financial guarantee for completion of site improvements. 3. Any subsequent expansion is subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. 4. All waste and waste containers shall be stored within the structure and no outside storage is permitted. 5. Approved variances include: a) front yard setback to drive of 8.3 ft. rather than 10 ft.; and, b) side yard setback to parking of 5 ft. rather than 20 ft. 6. Compliance with all applicable fire and building code requirements. 0 PLEASE SEE PACE TWO Rage twv Resolution No. 83-257 7. An emergency access shall be provided to the east side of the new addition area similar to the access provided on the west side of the building. 8. Three additional handicapped parking stalls shall be provided near the building entrances. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by ilm tuber Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the ollowing voted In favor t ereo :Mor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Threinen The following following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. dsk2A
