HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1983-237CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rmeeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of May , 1983. The following member were present:�or Davenport, Councilmem ers en, Neils, Schneider and Threnen The follow nq members were absent: none o ncilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83-237 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - FOX GLEN 3RD ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Zachman Homes requestinq installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Fox Glen 3rd Addition; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Fox Glen 3rd Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on May 2, 1983, is hereby declared to be signed by the reouired percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made 10 In conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assesment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is iiistructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advisinq the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoinq Resolution was duly seconoed by Cnuncilmmber Moenand upon vote bein tak thereo the following vote n favor thereof.
