Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was heldon the 25th day of April

Cniinrilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption
RESOLUTION NO. 83-214
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PROJECT NO. 244
AMHURST 5TH ADDITION - STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution adopted by the City Council on April 11, 1983,
the consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., has
prepared plans and specifications with respect for the Improvements to Amhurst
5th Addition by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, gravel, street
base and all necessary appurtenances; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH:
I. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
i2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement
for bids upon the making of such Improvement under such approved
plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published
for two days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state
that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on
Tuesday, May 10, 1983, at which time they will be publicly opened
in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center buildinq at 3400
Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager or his
authorized representative and that no bids will be considered unless
sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk
for five percent of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
rnupcilmembeL o n , and upon vote being taken thereon, the

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
