Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a soecial meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the

MayorDayenport introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 83-198
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HENNEPIN COUNTY SHERIFF'S
WATER PATROL TO CONCENTRATE ENFORCE14ENT ON MEDICINE LAKE FOR 1983
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Park Reserve District has developed a public
boat launch on Medicine Lake, and
WHEREAS, said boat launch may increase the number of boats on Medicine Lake
by sixty (60), and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth wishes to encourage the safe recreational use
of Medicine Lake,
NOW, THEREFORE, BF IT HEREBY REQUESTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Hennepin County Sheriff's Water Patrol place
a high priority on scheduling patrols of Medicine Lake commencing with the
opening of the Medicine Lake Regional launch facility.
10The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereo Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen,

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duty passed and adopted.
