The following members were present: Mavo�vennort.0 nc�_ __w�tf�er5..MnPn- Noi1s and Threinen The followinq vers were absent: Cptiorilmomhor SrhnPidgr • Introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption RESOLUTION NO. 83- 189 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 1983 STREET SURFACING PRCGRAM WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the Council as follows: 1. Project No. 920 - Juneau Lane and Kingsview Lane Resolution No. 81-804; December 7, 1981 2. Project No. 014 - Amhurst 3rd Addition Resolution No. 82-89; February 22, 1982 3. Project No. 201 - Brockpahler Addition Resolution No. 82-90; February 22, 1982 4. Project No. 202 - West Ridge Estates 4th Addition . Resolution No. 82-241; May 27, 1982 5. Project No. 211 - Oxbow Ridge Addition Resolution No. 82-165; April. 5, 1982 the City's consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene,Anderlik & Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for bituminous street, concrete curb and gutter and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the consulting engineer has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Official paper and In The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City "lerk until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 1983, at which time they will be publicly opened 1bIn the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Resolution No. 83- 184 Page 2 2. Continued Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by IS Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils and Tbreinen The following voted against or abstained:• Whereupon the Resolution was declared dulx paIRM and adopted.
