HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1983-186CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a T special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the lith day of April19_,U. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmem ers Moen, Neils and Threinen The fo,lowing members were absent: Councilmember Schneider Cou0cjlmem4er Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83- 186 SETTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT HEARING VICKSBURG LANE TO WESTON LANE STORM SEWER PROJECT NO. 002-001 WHEREAS, the property owner at 1506 Weston Lane has discussed with the City the need for a drainage improvement adjacent to this property; and WHEREAS, a report was prepared by Strgar-Roscoe, Inc. providing for two alternate drainage improvement projects; and WHEREAS, the property owner of 1506 Weston Lane has agreed to pay 12,% of the cost of a storm sewer, up to a maximum of $1,000 and will grant the City the necessary easements for the improvement; and . WHEREAS, the property at 1506 Weston Lane is also benefited from a storm sewer improvement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Council will consider the improvement os such storm sewer in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $15,000.00. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 2nd day of May, 1983 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neilsand upon vote beingtaken theereon the 10 following voted n avf� eterreor: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Koen, Neils and Threinen The following voted against or abstained: Hone Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
