Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 11th day of
April , 1983. The following members were present: Mayor llayenport,
Cminrilmembers Moen. Neils and Threinen The following members were
absent: Councilmember Schneider
Cniinrilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption
RESOLUTION NO. 83-180
AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF 72" SELF-PROPELLED ROTARY MOWER
WHEREAS, funds have been budgeted for the purchase of a 72" self-propelled
rotary mower in the 1983 budget; and
WHEREAS, such equipment is required to adequately maintain the City's Public
Improvements; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with State Statute, bid specifications were prepared and
distributed and bid proposals received and opened on March 23, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
10 BIDDER AMOUNT
Minnesota Toro, Inc. $12,363.00
Long Lake Ford Tractor, Inc. $119485.00
WHEREAS, the bid of Long Lake Ford Tractor, Inc. is In conformance with City
specifications for this equipment and Long Lake Ford Tractor is therefore
declared the lowest responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THF CITY OF
PLYMOUTH that it should and hereby does accept the proposal of Long Lake Ford
Tractor, Inc. In the amount of $11,485.00 and, further, that Funds for this
purchase are authorized from Account No. 602-531-921.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by

and Threi nen
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
