The following members were present:MaXor Daygnport, Councilmembers The following memoirs were absent: Councilme_mber Schneider Coilm ber Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83-177 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 122 18TH AVENUE WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on April 11, 1983 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: 18th Avenue from Highway 55 to West Medicine Lake Drive by the installation of sanitary sewer lateral and trunk facilities and water lateral and trunk facilities, storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been comleted and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 2nd day of May, 1983 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor thereo Mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Moen, The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
