HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1983-176CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a C.PpWal meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 11th day of April , 1983. The following members were present: �,�J avenport. r�an.Ngils and Threinen The following were absent: Cnuncilmember Schneider Counrilmamhpr Moen Introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83-176 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDFRINC PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSFSSMFNT PROSECT NO. 122 18TH AVENUE. WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been completed for the Improvement of: 18th Avenue from Highway 55 to West Medicine Lake Drive by the installation of sanitary sewer lateral and trunk facilities and water lateral and trunk facilities, storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such Improvement is $349,168.70 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $153,815.31, so the total cost of the Improvement will be $502,984.01, and of this cost the City will pay $68,150.08 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COOKIL OF THE rITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $434,833.93. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils 4p4 Thrpinpn The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adQqTeG.
