Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its

RESOLUTION NO. 83-152
APPROVING CONSOLIDATION OF TWO UNPLATTED PARCELS FOR ALBERT NIELSEN AT 11308 STATE
HIGHWAY 55 (83002)
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered a request by Naeqele Outdoor Advertisinq
Company for a Conditional Use Permit for an advertising sign on property consisting of
two unplatted parcels owned by Albert Nielsen at 11308 State Highway No. 55; and,
WHEREAS, the Zoning Ordinance requires consolidation of parcels which are commonly
owned, and which serve a common development;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Consolidation of two unplatted
parcels owned by Albert Nielsen at 11308 State Highway No. 55 as follows:
EXISTING PARCELS
PARCEL A - That part of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 35,
owns p 118, North Range 22, West of the 5th Principal Meridian, lyinq
Northeasterly of the Northeasterly line of State Trunk Highway Number 55, beinq
bounded on the West by a line described as follows: Reginninq at a point in the
North line of said Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 distant 353.99 feet West of
the Northeast corner of said Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4; thence runninq
South 15 degrees 35 minutes West 184.45 feet more or less to a point in the
Northerly right-of-way line of State Trunk Highway Number 55 and beinq bounded on
the East by a line described as follows: Beginning at a point in the North line
of said Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4, 250.15 feet West of the Northeast
corner of said Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4; thence running South 15 degrees
and 35 minutes West 242.31 feet more or less to a point in the Northerly
right-of-way line of State Trunk Highway Number 55; For the purpose cf this
description, the North line of said Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 is assumed
to be a due East and West line. ALSO: That part of the Southeast 1/4 of the
Northeast 1/4 of Section 35, Township 118, Range 22, described as follows:
Commencing at a point in the North line of said Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast
1/4, distant 146.31 feet West of the Northeast corner of said Southeast 1/4 of the
Northeast 1/4; thence continuing West along said North line 103.84 feet; thence
running Sough 15 degrees, 35 minutes West 242.31 feet, more or less to a point In
the Northerly right-of-way line of State Trunk Number 55;

thence running Southeasterly along said Northerly right-of-wav line 100 feet;
thence running North 15 degrees, 35 minutes East 270.15 feet more or less to the
point of beginning; EXCEPTING therefrom the Southwesterly 30 feet measured at
right angles from the Northeasterly line of trunk Highway Number 55; For the
purpose of this description the North line of said Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast
1/4 Is assumed to be a due East and West line.
PARCEL B - That part of the Southeast Ouarter of the Northeast Ouarter (SE 1/4 of
of Section 35, Township 118 North, Ranqe 22 West of the 5th principal
meridian, described as follows: Commencinq at a point on the North line of said
Southeast Ouarter of the Northeast Ouarter (SE. 1/4 of NE. 1/4) distant 753.32. feet
West of the Northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Ouarter
(SE_ 1/4 of NE 1/4) (said North line beinq assumed to have a bearing of East for
purposes of this description); thence South 8 degrees, 02 minutes, 30 seconds East
113.42 feet, more or less, to the Northerly riqht-of-way line of State Trunk
Highway No. 55; thence Southeasterly along said Northerly right-of-way line 170
feet to the point of beginning of the property beinq described; thence
Northeasterly on a straight line to its point of intersection with said North line
at a point thereon distant 528.32 feet West of said Northeast corner; thence East
along said North line 174.33 feet; thence South 15 degrees 35 seconds West a
distance of 212.02 feet, more or less, to said Northerly right-of-way; thence
Northwesterly along said Northerly right-of-way line to the point of beginning.
To be consoildated into a single parcel.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilwewber Hells , and upon vote being taken thereon, tl e
