Moen introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 83- 140
A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CHAIN LINK FENCING
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has an approved Capital Improvements Program
which calls for the installation of chain link fence at both Plymouth
Creek and Zachary Playfields, and
WHEREAS, sealed bids have been received, opened and reviewed for this
project, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found the bids to be in order and conformance
with said specifications dated February 25, 1983,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COL+CIL OF THE CITY OF
` PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the award of bid for the installation of fencing
at Plymouth Creek and Zachary Playfields be made to Metropolitan Fence,
Inc., in an amount not to exceed $22,123, and further, that the Finance
Director is hereby authorized to transfer $22,123 from the Park Dedication,
City Playfields account (218-218) to the Construction Fund for this
project.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
o ncilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon. the
following vote n favor t ereo : Mayor DaywRort. Councilmembers Moen,
Marl-_ Schneider and Threinen

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
