HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1983-129rnunrilmPmhgr-Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoptiion RESOLUTION NO`.;83- 129 APPROVING THE ACQUISITION OF THE RIGHT TO REMOVE THE EXISTING HOUSE AND GRADE THE LOT AT 1751 WEST MEDICINE LAKE DRIVE PROJECT NO. 122 18TH AVENUE STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is planning to undertake Project 122, 18th Avenue/Fox Forest Improvements; and WHEREAS, the City Council has ordered the preparation of final plans and specifications and the advertisement for bids for Project 122; and WHEREAS, the Intersection of 18th Avenue North with West Medicine Lake Drive requires this lot to be graded in order to provide proper safety sight distance; and WHEREAS, the owners of the lot have agreed to sell the house and gradinq rights for $48,000.00; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the City Manager is hereby authorized to purchase the qradinq and house removal rights in the lot at 1751 West Medicine Lake Drive, and that the acquisition costs be included in the total cost per Project No. 122.
