RESOLUTION NO. 83- 127
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 5 AND FINAL
PARKERS LAKE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
BID A
PROJECT NO. 606
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Shafer Contracting Company as con-
tractor have entered into an agreement for Bid A of the Parkers Lake Improvement
Project, said agreement being dated March 14, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval
of the final request for payment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH:
1. That the original contract amount was $362,290.00, one change
order in the amount of $34,806.00 was approved, and the value
of the work completed and certified to date is $395,877.40.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for Project No. 606,
Bid A and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable
be and same is hereby released from the contract except as to
the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights
of the owner, required guarantees and corrections of faulty work
after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 5 and Final in the amount of $33,469.03
to Shafer Contracting for Project No. 606, Bid A, is hereby
approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and
directed to pay the same forthwith.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Co ncilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
