HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1983-123CoUpcil Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83- 123 ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY REPORT AMHURST STH ADDITION STREET AND UTILITIES PROSECT NO. 244 WHEREAS, the developer of Amhurst 5th Addition has petitioned the City to Install a 7 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage facilities, sanitary sewer, watermain and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, property benefited by such projects will be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Ronestroo, Rosene, Anderlik do Associates for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should be best made as proposed or in connection with same other Improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended. The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by ;oupcilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the followIng voted n favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, The followIng voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. #st twf f�f
