HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1983-097fa: sf+r �gunSjlmembar Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its aeoption RESOLUTION NO. 83- 97 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT NO. 122 18TH AVENUE STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution adopted by the City Council on November 15, 1982, the consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik A Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the improvements to 18th Avenue from Highway 55 to West Medicine Lake Drive by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, bituminous street with concrete curb and qutter, storm sewer and all necesssary appurtenances; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 1983, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center buildinq at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager or his authorized representative and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
