Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meet-ing of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 'nth day of . February 1963.

APPROVING VARIANCE FROM THE SUBDIVISION CODE FOR HENNEPIN COUNTY PARK RESERVE TO PERMIT
A PROPERTY DIVISION OF LAND LOCATED NORTHEAST OF WEST MEDICINE LAKF ROAD AND COIINTY
ROAD 9 (82065)
WHEREAS, Hennepin County Park Reserve has requested a variance from the Subdivision
Code to allow a property divisior, of parcels located northeast of West Medicine Lake
Road and County Road 9 to be made part of the Medicine Lake Regional Park; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and has recommended
approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COIINCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the variance from the Subdivision
Code for Hennepin County Park Reserve allowinq the property division of parcels located
northeast of West Medicine Lake Road and County Road 9 and more specifically described
as follows:
EXISTING LEGAL DESCRIPTION
EXISTING PARCEL 1:
That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter and that part of the Northwest Quarter of
the Southwest Quarter, Section 14, Township 118,
Range 22, all described as beginning at the
Northwest corner of said Southwest Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter, which point is marked by a
Judicial Landmark set pursuant to Torrens Case No.
11678; thence South along the West line thereof to
a point 119.4 feet North from the Southwest corner
of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter;
thence Easterly, deflecting to the left 90 degrees
99 minutes, a distance of 290 feet, thence East
parallel to the South line of said Southwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, a distance of 186
feet= thence South, parallel to the west line of

FURTHER, that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special assessment
corrections based upon City policy when the division is approved by Hennepin County.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote n favor thereof: mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen,
Schneider and Threinen

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
