The following members were 1 wrrw Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83-29 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF NO PARKING SIGNS ON 5TH AVENUE BETWEEN WESTON LANE AND 4TH AVENUE WHEREAS, the Independent School District No. 284 adopted a student parking permit system for Wayzata High School; and WHEREAS, the implementation of this program caused dislocation of some student vehicles from off-street school parking lots to on -street locations along 5th Avenue and Weston Lane; and WHEREAS, the City desires to minimize on -street parking to enhance pedestrian safety; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that it hereby authorizes the installation of no parking signs reading "No 10 Parking - 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., School Days" on 5th Avenue between Weston Lane and 4th Avenue. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the following v0 e n favor fhereW Mayor Davenport. Counc lmembers Moen.
