HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-660CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was hold on—tfw---2ftn day of December 19R2. The following meobers were present: Mayor Davenport,,Couiclueiers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Threnen were absent: -- wsw Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-660 APPROVING SUBDIVISION VARIANCE TO PERMIT LOT DIVISION FOR PHOENIX MUTUAL LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY AT 3020 HARBOR LANE (A-441) WHEREAS, Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Company has requested approval of a Subdivision variance to allow a Lot Division of Lot 2, Block 2, Fox Meadows First Addition, consisting of approximately 1.801 acres; and, WHEREAS, the proposed division would create two parcels, one containing approximately 1.253 acres which is the site of an existing office building; and the other containinn approximately .548 acres which is the site of an existing recreation building and attached railroad car; and, WHEREAS, the request was considered by the City Council on October 6, 1980 as reflected In Resolution No. 80-749; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that is should and hereby does approve the following Lot Division and that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special assessment corrections based upon City policy when the Lot Division is approved by Hennepin County: EXISTING PARCEL Lot 2, Block 2, "Fox Meadows First Addition", except the North 202 Feet thereof (PIN 21-118-22-41-0017) to be divided into two new parcels described as follows: PARCEL A. That Part jof Lot 2, Block 2, FOX MEADOWS FIRST ADDTTION lyinq South of a line parallel with and 202 feet South of the North line of said Lot 2, -EXCEPT that part lying Southerly of following described line: Beginning at a point in the East line of said Lot 2, distant 156.52 Feet North of the Southeast corner thereof; thence West at a right angle to said East line 167.56 Feet; thence Southerly deflectinq to the left 60 degrees, 58 minutes, 33 seconds a distance of 70.21 Feet to the Southwesterly line of said Lot 2 and there terminating. (Area = 54,565 Sq. Ft. or 1.253 Acres). Page two Resolution No. 82 - PARCEL B. That Part of Lot 2, Block 2, FOX MEADOWS FIRST ADDITION, lyinq Southerly of a line described as follows: Beginning at a point in the Fast line of said Lot 2, distant 156.52 Feet North of the Southeast corner thereof; thence West at a riqht anqle to said East line 167.56 Feet; thence Southerly deflecting to the left 60 degrees, 58 minutes, 33 seconds a distance of 70.21 Feet to the Southwesterly line of said Lot 2 and there terminating. (Area = 28,861 Sq. Ft. or 0.548 acres.) FURTHER, Resolution No. 80-749 is hereby rescinded. The motion for of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken Neon, Tie thereof: Mayor Davenport.
