Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reoular meetinq of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of
December , 1982. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport,
.o,ncilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider & Threinerl The following members were
absent: none
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption
RESOLUTION NO. 82-657
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
DRAINAGE DITCH EASEMENT
LOT 2, EAST MEDICINE LAKE ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate the drainage ditch easement on Lot 2,
East Medicine Lake Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on December 20,
1982 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851, as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of December 20, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on December ?0, 1982 to inform
any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of the drainage ditch
easement on Lot 2, East Medicine Lake Addition: and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that the drainage easement on
Lot 2, East Medicine Lake Addition is not needed for drainage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH as follows:
1. That the following easement be vacated:
The drainage ditch easement over the Easterly 8 feet of Lot 2, Fast
Medicine Lake Addition, per Document No. 822130.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote beinq taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils,
Schneider and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: none
whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
