The following members were presentM4v9r Dayepr he following members were absent:, nen o ncilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-609 DECLARIK ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - NATHAN LAME - WILLOW GROVE ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Wallace E. Freeman requesting installa- tion of ornamental residential street lighting on Nathan Lane at the parking lot entrances to 135 and 235 Nathan Lane; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The petition requesting the improvement of Nathan Lane by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on Novem- ber 15, 1982, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed,advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vo n Tavor ereo : Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Threinen The following vote against or abstained: none Wwreupon the Resolution was declared duly passed -and adopted.
