Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reaular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth. Minnesota was held on the
15th day of November , 19 82. The following members were

Coupgilmmber Moen introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82- 608
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - 12TH AVENUE BET14EEN HIGHWAY 101 AND PEONY LANE
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from property owners requesting installation
of ornamental residential street lighting on 12th Avenue between Highway 101 and
Peony Lane;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Of THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH:
1. The petition requesting the improvement of 12th Avenue between Highway 101 and
Peony Lane by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed
with the City Council on November 15, 1982, is hereby declared to be signed by
the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declara-
tion is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is not signed by 100% of the affected property owners and will
require public improvement and special assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to
report to the Council with all convenient speed advising,the Council in a pre-
liminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether
it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement
and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following v0 n ravor thereof: Mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Moen. Neils,
Schneider and Threinen
