The following membgrs ers�loen, ails, Schneider & Threinen Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-588 A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING LCMR OUTDOOR RECREATION GRANTS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plymouth has reviewed the facts concerning the continued funding of the Outdoor Recreation Grants Program by the state of Minnesota, and WHEREAS, finds that this program has been very beneficial to the citizens of the City of Plymouth, and further, that it has been a successful program throughout the entire state of Minnesota, and WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, endorses the continued support for the funding of this state grants program, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Minnesota Legislature and the LCMR is encouraged to continue funding of the Outdoor Recreation Grants Program for fiscal years 1983-84 at an adequate level commensurate with previous years' funding. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coun ilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the 751lowing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Threinen___ The following voted against or abstained: Ba Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly p-asseW and adopted.
