the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
1st day of November , 1982 The following members
were present: Mayor Davenport, ounce mem ers Moen, 1Veils, Schneider & Threinen
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
Resolution No. 82-587
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH AND DNR FOR THE LUCE LINE TRAIL
WHEREAS, the State of `1innesota through the Conr_assioner of Natural Resources,
intends to conduct investigations and enforcement an certain lands and waters
pursuant to law, and
WHEREAS, the Luce Line Trail is identified as property under the control and
ownership of the Department of Natural Resources, and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth through its Police Department shall enforce all
laws, rules and ordinances relating to State and local recreational trail
usage, and
IkERREAS, said enforcement and investigation will take place on that portion
of the Luce Line Trail in Plymouth, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources agrees to reimburse the City of
Plymouth, at the rate of 916 per hour with a $600.00 maxin-um total charge for
providing police service on the Luce Line Trail in Plymouth;
NOW, 1IEFEMRE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plymouth, Minnesota, that the Contract Agreement between the City of Plymouth
and Department of Natural Resources he adopted.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor there Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen.
Neils, Schneider and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
