Schneider & Threinen The following members were absent: none ♦rte :** •,r,r ---Coyn�ilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-583 AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE TON DUMP TRUCK WHEREAS, funds have been budgeted for the purchase of a one ton dump truck in the 1982 budget; and WHEREAS, such e-aipment is required to adequatcly maintain the City's Public Improvements; and WHEREAS, in accordance with State Statute, bid specifications were prepared and distributed and bid proposals received and opened on October 26, 1982; and WHEREAS, the following bids were received: BIDDER AMOUNT GMC Minneapolis Truck Center $14,434.79 Baldwin Chevrolet 14,616.00 Hopkins Dodge Sales, Inc. 16,250.00 WHEREAS, the bid of GMC Minneapolis Truck Center is in conformance with City specifications for this equipment and GMC Minneapolis Truck Center is therefore declared the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that is should and hereby does accept the proposal of GMC Minneapolis Truck Center in the amount of $14,434.79 and, further, that funds for this purchase are authorized from Account No. 602-531-921. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by GniiQrilrmjqhPp MaCD and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted n favor ereo : Mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Moen. Neils The following vote against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resoiutio,, was declared duly passed and adopted.
