HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-540CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetino of the City Council of the.City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on—the ath day of October lga2 . The following members were present:MaLror Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Schneider and Threinen The following memoirs were absent: Councilmember Neils Co ncilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-540 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 240 - 34TH AVENUE WHEREAS, contract has been let for the improvement of: 1. 34th Avenue from Xenium Lane to the west boundary of Heritage Estate 2nd Add. 2. By the installation of watermain trunk facilities, and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement including incidental expenses is $6,000.00 and of this cost the City will pay $0.00 as its phare of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $6,000.00 2. The City Clerk% with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land with the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assess- ment notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted n favor thereof.
