Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of October 1982.

adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82-536
UPHOLDING BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS RULING AND DENIAL OF VARIANCE REOUEST
BY DONALD HOLMQUIST, FOR A SIDE YARD VARIANCE AT 17235 9TH AVENUE NORTH
WHEREAS, Mr. Donald Holmquist, 17235 9th Avenue North, has filed an appeal dated
September 14, 1982 to the September 13, 1982 ruling of the Board of Zoning Adjustments
and Appeals to deny a request for a 9 foot side yard setback variance from Ordinance
standards to permit the addition of a garage to a single family dwelling; and,
WHEREAS, the Board reviewed the matter at the September 13, 1982 meeting; and,
WHEREAS, the Board's ruling was based upon the finding that the request is not
consistent with the Zoning Ordinance variance criteria considering the magnitude of the
request and the finding that there are alternatives available to the petitioner to
locate the proposed garage within Ordinance standards;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does uphold the September 13, 1982 ruling by the
Board of Zoning Adjustments and Appeals denying the variance request for a side yard
setback variance of 9 feet, for Mr. Donald Holmquist, 17235 9th Avenue North.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by

o- owing voted in favor thereof: Mayor, Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider and
Nhereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
