Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 27th day of _S_eptewber . 19 82

Acting Mayor Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82-518
RECOGNIZING WORK OF COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS
WHEREAS, volunteers provide essential human services to our local community: and
WHEREAS, the Brookdale Merchants Association, Northwest Hennepin Volunteer Coordina-
tion Committee and Volunteers in Action, District 281 Communty Education and Services
are cosponsoring the third annual Volunteerism Fair at Hrookdale Center on the week-
end of October 2 and 3;
BE IT RESOLVED that the Plymouth City Council recognizes the important
achievement of community volunteers and commends them for their dedicated
of forts.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: ting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Moen Neils and Threinen
The following voted against orabstained: flone
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopt
