HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-493CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 13th day of September , 1982. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Counc�members Moen, Neils, Schneider and Threinen The following members were absent: none f Gouncilm=oer Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-493 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO ENTER AN ORDER WITH RESPECT TO A HAZARDOUS AND DANGEROUS BUILDING LOCATED AT 10710 SOUTH SHORE DRIVE WHEREAS, the Building Official of the City of Plymouth has made a written report to the Council relative to the condition of the building located at 10710 South Shore Drive in the City of Plymouth, and WHEREAS, in said report the Building Official has recommended that proceedings be commenced for the repair of said building or, in the alternative, for its razing and removal, all pursuant to Sections 463.15 et seq. of Minnesota Statutes. WHEREAS, said report has been examined and considered by the Council, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the Mayor and the City Manager be authorized and directed to enter an Order, a copy of which is attached as: Exhibit "A" to the owners of the property located at 10710 South Shore Drive, City of Plymouth, Minnesota, as provided by the provisions of Sections 463.15 et seq. of Minnesota Statutes. 2. That the City Attorney is authorized and directed to cause such Order to be served upon the owners of record of said premises, or their agents, upon any occupants therein and upon all lien holders of record and to proceed with the enforcement of said Order as provided by Minnesota Statutes. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor DavenEgrt, rouncilmembers Moen.
