Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rectal meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 13 � day of Sentember . 1982.

Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82- 489
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF NO PARKING SIGNS
ON 4TH AVENUE NORTH BETWEEN VICKSBURG AND BLACK OAKS LANE
AND WESTON LANE FROM 4TH TO 5TH AVENUE
WHLRLAS, the Independent School District No. 284 is considering the adoption of a
student parking permit system for Wayzata High School; and
WHEREAS, the implementation of this program is likely to cause dislocation of some
student vehicles from off-street school parking lots to on -street locations along 4th
Avenue North and Weston Lane; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to minimize on street parking to enhance pedestrian safety;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth
that it hereby authorizes the installation of no parking signs reading: "No Parking -
8 a.m. to 2 p.m., School Days" on 4th Avenue North between Vicksburg and Black Oaks
Lane and on Weston Lane between 4th and 5th Avenue North;
FURTHER, that the staff Is directed to complete installation as soon as possible
following adoption by the School Board of its proposed new hiqh school uarkinq
policy.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
