HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-488CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a snecial meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held �on- the 13th day of September 1982 The followingers were present:Mavor Davenport, Counc me Mo ers en; Reils, Schneider an7�reinen The following members were absent: none Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-488 A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR THE FURNISHING OF TWO 45' LONG PEDESTRIAN BRIDGES WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has an approved Capitol Improvements Program calling for the installation of two pedestrian bridges, one at Shiloh Neighborhood Park and one at Greentree West Park, and WHEREAS, bids have been received for the furnishing of two bridges for said parks, and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the bids and found them to be in proper order, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that a contract in the amount of $7,291 be awarded to DeBourgh Manufacturing Company and further, that the City Manager be authorized to expend funds from the Park Dedication Account 219-219-810 in the amount of 57,291 for the furnishing of two pedestrian bridges. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the Following voted in favor thereof:- Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Threinen The following voted against or abstained: none _ Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
